Summer is here and so is Crossover RC-2!

Hi everyone! I apologize (not really) for not posting lately. I’ve been outside touching the grass, camping, walking the dogs and hanging with my best friend that stays at my place all summer every year. I mean to get back to painting but by the time evening rolls around I’m usually just done from the day!

I did pick up a Nintendo Switch 2 and some games with some money I made on Ebay, I’m loving it so far! I sold my Steam Deck then after about a month realized I miss some portable gaming and well I’ve not owned a Nintendo anything since the 3DS.

Currently I only own one Switch 2 game and it’s Mario Wonder Switch 2 Edition. The rest I picked up are Switch 1. I also picked up some from the Switch store. Didn’t go crazy just some cheaper games that I have played to death since the 80’s – 90’s. I’m a simple gamer.

In Crossover news they have released Beta RC-2. I found what I think may be a bug and am working with them by installing older versions to see if I can replicate it. The game keeps a couple battle.net processes going and doesn’t shut them down on their own. So as the next version is coming along some of my more intensive games feel a bit more optimized.

Also I have added another game to their Compatibility Database. The game is Medic: Pacific War. WONDERFUL concept but execution is a bit um lacking at least to a former medic. It is the initial release and currently is about $9 it is a work in progress for as they estimate the next year or so. I’m hoping the casualties don’t all look like bald headed mannequins. aa
