Nocturnal – Free from Steam (yup Steam actually gave something out) that’s good!

I’m a great member of an awesome discord for Mac Gaming and they post all the free things when they hit. Normally the stuff from Epic and GoG and Steam (mostly f2p for like a week) is horrible. However when this side scrolling action platformer came out it looks very simple +1 from me however it felt just like The Last Faith and not very original in playstyle -1 so we are at an even 0 at this point.

The soundtrack was enjoyable and really brought the game into it’s own with the visuals +1. (no i don’t have a scale..) Playing with Crossover (15% off discount here). My hardware (Mac Studio M3 Ultra 96gb) for playing was extreme overkill so I tried it on my laptop which I suppose is the same (MBP Max 64gb). Both performed outstanding! Then againg there is not much in this game to push your resources or have any thermal throttling.

Here is some game play on my Mac Studio @ 4k Resolution and the metal hud is on showing FPS and other resources being used. Enjoy. Oh wait I forgot to say I’d give this one a thumb (not Thumbs) up for a way to pass the time and quickly conquer a game.
